COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State swept the first-ever Big Ten weekly lacrosse awards with Katie Chase (Offensive), Tori DeScenza (Defensive) and Molly Wood (Freshman) all taking home the weekly honors.

Below is a breakdown of each individual's performance: 

Offensive Player of the Week
Katie Chase, Ohio State
Sr. - A - Woodbine, Md. - Glenelg

• Scored six goals in No. 10 Ohio State's 19-4 season-opener win over Detroit
• Scored on all six shots in the first half, tying for the second-most goals in a single half in program history
• Earns the first Big Ten weekly award of her career

Defensive Player of the Week
Tori DeScenza, Ohio State
Sr. - G - Sea Bright, N.J. - Shore Regional

• Recorded three saves in the season-opening win over Detroit
• Did not allow a goal in 32 minutes of action
• Collects the first Big Ten weekly award of her career

Freshman of the Week
Molly Wood, Ohio State
M - Skaneateles, N.Y. - Skaneateles

• Scored two goals on three shots in Ohio State's 19-4 victory over Detroit
• Totaled three draw controls
• Earns the first Big Ten weekly award of her career
