Buckeyes Add Nine to 2015 Roster

Ohio State women's lacrosse coach Alexis Venechanos has signed nine new Buckeyes for the 2015 season. The recruiting class features student-athletes from six different states, including three from New York and two from Ohio. The well-rounded class also features signees from California, Florida, Maryland and Virginia.

Buckeyes Begin Fall Competition Saturday

The Ohio State women's lacrosse team beings its 2014 fall season this weekend when its hosts Marquette and Cincinnati at the Harmon Football Practice Park at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Ohio State will face Marquette at 9 a.m., Cincinnati at 10:25 a.m. and Marquette a second time around 11:50 a.m. Admission is free for these games.

Two Buckeyes Named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

The Ohio State women's lacrosse team continued its outstanding achievements in the classroom as two student-athletes, Mary Kate Facchina and Jennifer Porretto, were named to the 2014 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll for sustaining at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point-average.

The Big Ten Conference has announced the schedule of league games for 2015, the opening season of women's lacrosse as a B1G-sponsored sport. Ohio State will host Michigan, Maryland and Rutgers in Columbus next spring.
