Scarlet and Gray Scrimmage Set for Saturday

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 10 Ohio State women’s hockey team will hold its Scarlet and Gray intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday, Jan. 5, at the OSU Ice Rink. Admission to the event is free of charge.  

The day will be started off with a Youth Holiday Clinic from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in which kids will receive instruction from Ohio State coaches and players. Walk-in signups are welcome and the cost of the clinic is $35. Pizza and beverages will be provided. 

Following the clinic, the ice will be cleared and the Buckeyes will hit the ice for the intrasquad scrimmage. The team will be broken up to form two squads and they will play a 25 minute contest with a running clock.

The Buckeyes will hold an autograph session lasting approximately 15 minutes after the scrimmage is over.

To conclude the day of hockey events the team will compete in a skills competition. The competition will consist of five events including fastest skater, accuracy shooting, a skills relay, hardest shot and an elimination shootout.
