2013-14 (Senior Season)
In her final season, Steffes saw the ice in 26 games, starting 25 of them... posted career bests and OSU all-time single season bests in both goals-against average (1.86) and save percentage (.935)... compiled a record of 11-11-4... posted career-best five shutouts... finished season with 676 saves in 1,517:40 minutes of ice time... recorded eight 30-plus save performances, including a season-best 43 against Minnesota Dec. 8... ends career at OSU tied for third with 37 career wins; second in career saves (2,410); third in career goals against average (2.75); tied for first in career save percentage (.910); tied for third in career games played (91) and fifth in career minutes played (5,175:42).
2012-13 (Junior Season)
Saw action in three games... started one game, Nov. 24 at Princeton... saw action in both games in a series at Minnesota Oct. 19-20... played a total of 96:45 minutes in goal... recorded a 3.72 goals-against average and a save percentage of .867.
2011-12 (Sophomore Season) Saw the ice in 28 games during her sophomore season ... her total ice time was 1401 minutes and 32 seconds ... she had 1 shutout which came at Minnesota State on October 29th, 2011 ... on the year she gave up 72 goals with a Goals Against Average (GAA) of 3.08 ... she made 610 saves and had a save percentage of .894 for the season ... her record for the years was 12-12-1.
2010-11 (Freshman Season)
Started all 36 games as goaltender for the Buckeyes ... just the third goaltender in Ohio State history to start in the net as a freshman ... finished with a 14-19-3 record and was 8-17-3 in WCHA play ... had a 3.11 goals-against average ... set the Ohio State record in saves for a single season, recording 1,085 saves ... her save total was the highest in the NCAA ... had a .906 save percentage, facing 1,214 shots on the year ... totaled 2159:15 minutes in the net ... made 30 or more saves 21 times during the season, while recording 40 or more saves six times with one 50 save game ... finished with a 3.43 goals-against average in WCHA play and had a .902 save percentage with 884 saves ... opened the season with a four-game span with a single goal allowed in each game (Oct. 8-16) ... kicked off her collegiate career with 40 saves during the two-game series at Robert Morris (Oct. 8-9) and collected her first career win in the season-opening 4-1 win over the Colonials ... recorded first 40-plus save game in the 6-5 overtime loss at top-ranked Wisconsin, tallying 44 saves (Oct. 22) ... stopped 21 of 22 shots faced in a 5-1 win over Syracuse (Oct. 29) and followed with a 44-save performance against the Orange in a 6-2 win (Oct. 30) ... made 30 stops on the road in a 2-2 tie with North Dakota (Nov. 7) ... had 31 saves in Ohio State's 4-2 upset over then-No. 3 Minnesota Duluth on the road (Nov. 19) ... followed with a 50-save performance in the loss to the Bulldogs the next day ... had back-to-back 30-plus save games against Bemidji State, resulting in a 2-2 tie and a 3-1 win (Nov. 26-27) ... totaled 27 saves in the two-game series versus Wayne State, picking up wins in both games (Dec. 30-31) ... collected 39 saves in a 4-2 defeat against Minnesota (Jan. 21) ... stopped 31 of 32 shots faced in 6-1 win at St. Cloud State (Jan. 28) ... tallied 37 saves in 1-1 tie at Bemidji State to end the regular season (Feb. 19) ... concluded the year with a 35-save performance in a 3-2 loss to Minnesota in the WCHA First Round Playoff series (Feb. 26) ... had three points on the season, recording three single-assist performances (Oct. 15, Oct. 22, Nov. 19).
Prior to Ohio State
Played with the Bluewater Jr. Hawks of the Provincial Women's Hockey League for two years ... saw limited action in 2009-10 because of injury, but played in 18 games with four shutouts, a 2.01 goals-against average and .931 save percentage ... attended St. Thomas of Villanova High School ... prior to Bluewater, played six seasons with the Sun Country Panthers AAA boys team ... selected to be on the 2009-10 Team Ontario Red ... helped the Hawks finish third in the PWHL in 2008-09 and fourth place in 2009-10 ... received the 2008 Windsor Essex Sports Person of the Year award for top female athlete ... named tournament MVP after backstopping Bluewater to the championship at the 2009 Stoney Creek Tournament ... also finished third at the Winterlude Showcase Tournament.
