Prior to Ohio State
Played for the Mississauga Jr. Chiefs for two seasons and attended Bluevale Collegiate Institute ... helped the Chiefs to back-to-back bronze medals in the Provincial Women's Hockey League with eight points in the 2008 postseason play ... finished the regular season fourth in points in the conference with 47 on 19 goals and 28 assists in 27 games ... helped Team Ontario Red win the gold medal in the U-18 National Hockey Tournament to follow her gold medal with Team Ontario at the Canada Winter Games in March 2007 with Buckeye teammate Natalie Spooner ... earned the sportsmanship award for the U-18 tournament ... during the 2006-07 season with Mississauga, received the team's MVP award after leading the league in scoring with 54 points with 21 goals and 33 assists in 32 games ... prior to her two seasons with Mississauga, was a member of the Waterloo AAA boys team and Brampton Canadettes ... also excelled in field hockey, softball, badminton and golf, earning a total of 10 team MVP awards at Bluevale.

Daughter of Diane and Dale McIntosh ... has a brother, Jeff ... greatest sports thrill was winning the gold medal at the Canadian U-18 National Hockey tournament in November 2007 in front of friends and family in her hometown ... played third base for the 2009 Team Ontario softball team that won silver at the Canada Games.
