Became the first freshman to start in the Ohio State net since the team's inaugural season in 1999-2000 ... started all 35 games she played ... finished with a 15-15-5 record and one shutout ... had a 3.02 goals-against average ... made 883 saves - the second-most in the Buckeye records - and was just the second OSU goalie to make over 800 saves in a season ... her save total also was the fifth-highest in the NCAA ... finished with a .894 save percentage ... faced a total of 988 shots ... played 2085:35 minutes in net, the eighth-highest total in the nation ... made 30 or more saves in 10 games and twice had over 40 saves in a game ... held opponents to a single goal or less in nine games ... in WCHA action, started 27 of 28 conference games with a 11-13-3 record, 3.25 GAA and .886 save percentage ... had a three-game span with a single goal allowed in each game (Dec. 12, Jan. 2-3) ... began her career with two overtime ties in season-opening series at Boston University (Oct. 2-3) ... had 33 saves in second game against the Terriers ... collected her first career win in a 5-2 victory at Bemidji State (Oct. 16) ... also made 33 saves in a 3-2 OT loss to Minnesota Duluth (Nov. 13) ... stopped 31 of 32 shots faced in a 2-1 win at St. Cloud State (Dec. 12) ... named the WCHA Defensive Player of the Week for back-to-back single-goal games in sweep of Robert Morris (4-1 Jan. 2, 6-1 Jan. 3) ... posted her first career shutout with 26 saves in 6-0 victory at Minnesota State (Jan. 15) ... had 42 saves in a 3-2 defeat vs. Wisconsin (Jan. 30) ... collected 32 saves in 6-3 upset at Minnesota Duluth to hand the Bulldogs their last loss of the season as it claimed the 2010 NCAA title (Feb. 13) ... stopped 51 of 56 shots faced in two overtime wins in upset of then-defending NCAA champion Wisconsin in the WCHA First Round Playoff series sweep in Madison (Feb. 26-27) ... had a season-high 43 saves in 5-4 double-overtime loss to Minnesota in the WCHA Final Faceoff semifinal game in Minneapolis (March 6) ... assessed two penalties for four minutes in a game at Wisconsin (Oct. 24).
Prior to Ohio State
Attended and played with Lawrence Academy in Groton, Mass., her sophomore, junior and senior seasons ... backstopped the Spartans to a 22-3-1 record as a senior ... helped Lawrence reach the 2009 D-I New England Championship game ... named to the Independent School League All-Star team her senior season ... posted 13 shutouts in 31 games as a junior and was named the team's MVP ... also played with the East Coast Wizards club team ... attended the U.S. Select 16s Festival in 2007 ... at Lawrence, also was the goalie for the field hockey and lacrosse teams and lettered twice in both sports ... was in the Cum Laude Society.

Daughter of Greg and Colleen Knapp ... has three older brothers: Patrick, Brendan and Connor ... Connor is a goalie for the CCHA's Miami RedHawks in Oxford, Ohio ... enjoys working out, boating and spending time with her family.
