Buckeyes Picked No. 22 in Preseason Poll

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s gymnastics team is ranked No. 22 in the 2018 National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) preseason poll. 

The Buckeyes totaled 690 points during the voting. Defending national champion Oklahoma checked in at No. 1, followed by Florida in second and LSU in the third spot.

Ohio State will face off against five top-25 teams this season, including road contests at No. 6 UCLA, No. 7 Michigan, No. 10 Kentucky and No. 20 Iowa. The Scarlet & Gray will welcome No. 25 Penn State to Columbus on Feb. 9.

Single meet tickets will be available for purchase starting Jan. 11 at 10 a.m.

The Buckeyes will be in action for their annual Scarlet & Gray intrasquad meet on Saturday at noon in St. John Arena. The first 150 fans will receive free parking and should enter the lot via Woody Hayes Dr.
