LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Ohio State’s Sarah Miller and Melanie Shaffer competed at the NCAA Championships Friday evening at Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, Calif. Friday marked the second trip to the NCAA Championships for Miller and Shaffer after the Buckeyes qualified as a team a season ago.
Shaffer notched a 39.025 to finish 14th in the all-around after tallying a 9.750 on vault, 9.825 on bars, 9.625 on balance beam and 9.825 on balance beam.
Miller scored an 8.800 after she suffered an uncharacteristic fall as she competed as an individual on balance beam.
