ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Alexis Mattern, a junior on the Ohio State women's gymnastics team, participated at the NCAA Championships Friday afternoon at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. The Harrisburg, Pa., native wrapped up a fantastic junior season by placing 15th in the all-around in the early session with a 39.200.
After a bye in the first rotation, Mattern began the meet with a 9.7875 on uneven bars before notching a 9.7625 on balance beam in the third rotation. Mattern then tallied a 9.850 on floor exercise before concluding her meet with a 9.800 on vault.
