Former Buckeyes Advance to Stage III of LPGA Qualifying

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Former Buckeyes Emma Jandel and In Hong Lim concluded the second stage of LPGA Qualifying in the top 70 and advanced to the third and final stage of Q-school this last week.
The second stage of the LPGA Qualifying Tournament was held Oct. 9-12 at Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla. The top 70 and ties from Stage II advanced to the final Qualifying Tournament Stage II.
Stage III will be contested over 90 holes on both the Champions and Legends courses at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla., Nov. 28-Dec. 2. Top finishers in the final stage will earn 2013 LPGA membership and all others who make the cut will receive Symetra Tour status.
Jandel ('10) and Lim ('11) each finished the 72-hole tournament with a 7-over 295 to tie for 63rd. Jandel, a Dayton, Ohio, carded rounds of 74-70-72-79. Lim, from Melbourne, Australia, recorded scores of 72-72-76-75.
Former Buckeye Carling Coffing and current senior Rachel Rohanna also competed in the tournament. Rohanna, of Waynesburg, Pa., missed the cut by two strokes, finishing with a 9-over 297, while Coffing totaled a 10-over 298.
