Rohanna, of Waynesburg, Pa., concluded the 2011-12 season as the team's top player, recording a 74.34 stroke average with seven rounds under par. She was named to the NCAA All-Region team after finishing seventh at the 2012 NCAA Central Regional tournament. Rohanna picked up the first individual title of her career, winning the Lady Buckeye with a 4-under 212 at the Scarlet Course. She also finished tied for third at the Big Ten Championships and earned First Team All-Big Ten honors.
Meier was named to the All-Big Ten first team after finishing with a 75.10 stroke average, which was third-best on the squad. The Rochester Hills, Mich., product led the team in three tournaments this year, including the competitive Northrop Grumman Regional where she finished tied for sixth.
Benavides had the team's fourth-best average at the end of last season, notching a 76.43 average over 41 rounds played. The Cochabamba, Bolivia, native was the team's top finisher at the Windy City Collegiate Championship, coming in sixth with a 1-over 217. That mark was a career-best score for Benavides.
Ohio State opens the fall schedule at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M., Sept. 17-18.
