COLUMBUS, Ohio - Five members of the Ohio State University women's golf team -- Zoe-Beth Brake, Jaclyn Lee, Katja Pogacar, Jessica Porvasnik and Rio Watanabe -- were announced as 2016-17 All-American Scholars, presented by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). Recipients must own a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 to earn this annual distinction, a feat accomplished by 952 women's collegiate golfers across all divisions.

Brake, Pogacar and Porvasnik are all graduated seniors concluding their careers with three consecutive selections to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team. Lee, meanwhile, is a two-time All-American Scholar following her sophomore campaign. Watanabe, currently pursuing a master's degree in sports management, also made the stringent list.
