No. 22 Buckeyes Placed in NCAA Central Regional

COLUMBUS, Ohio. - Just over 24 hours after winning a Big Ten Championship, the No. 22 Ohio State women's golf team learned it will compete in the NCAA Central Regional hosted by Oklahoma State University, announced during the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Selection Show aired on the Golf Channel. The regional tournament runs May 8-10.

The Buckeyes, along with 23 additional schools listed below, are headed to the Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla., with the top eight teams and top two individuals from non-qualifying teams advancing to the NCAA Championships May 20-23 at the Tulsa Country Club in Tulsa, Okla.

This marks the 20th consecutive trip to an NCAA Regional under head coach Therese Hession and 21st in 23 years at the helm of the Buckeye Women's Golf program. Hession's Buckeyes have moved on to the NCAA Championships 13 times, including a fourth place finish in 2003.
