Buckeyes Remain 13th After Two Rounds at Battle at the Beach

CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico – The Ohio State women’s golf team remained in 13th place after the second round at the Battle at the Beach Saturday afternoon at Club Campestre San Jose Golf Course in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Niki Schroeder led the Buckeyes with a 2-over 73 while Jaclyn Lee, Rio Watanabe and Adeena Shears each tallied a 4-over 75. Schroeder and Watanabe tied for a team-best three birdies on the day while Shears made a pair of birdies to tie her low round of the year.

Sofia Seldemirova made a pair of birdies to shoot a 6-over 77 while Alanis Sakuma also rolled in two birdies for a 6-over 78.
