HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. – The Ohio State women’s golf team finished 10th at the Windy City Collegiate Championship Tuesday at Northmoor Country Club. Jaclyn Lee led the Buckeyes for the second-consecutive tournament finishing in a tie for ninth place.
Lee, from Calgary, Alberta, was 1-under after Monday before a final-round 74 gave her a ninth-career Top 10 finish. The junior finished the event with a team-high 10 birdies and an eagle. Junior Niki Schroeder contributed three scores to the team total while notching a team-high 36 pars to finish at 8-over and a tie for 28th.
Senior Rio Watanabe finished in a tie for 39th at 10-over par while sophomore Alex Wright and Adeena Shears tallied a final-round 75 and 77, respectively. Wright tied for 50th in the 15-team tournament while Shears placed in a tie for 72nd.
Freshman Alanis Sakuma, competing in her first collegiate tournament, played as an individual for the Buckeyes, tying for 77th at 32-over.
