Ohio State Concludes Windy City Collegiate Classic in 10th

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State women's golf team concluded the Windy City Collegiate Classic in 10th with 43-over 907 on the par 71, 6,333-yard Glen View Golf Course. The Buckeyes carded a round three score of 304 on the last day. The tournament highlighted 10 teams ranked in the Golfstat head-to-head top 50 rankings.
Arizona captured the team title amongst the competitive field of schools with a 15-over 880. April McCoy from TCU rallied from 7th place after two rounds to take home the individual title with a 2-under 214.
With a third round score of 76, senior Rachel Rohanna finished first among the Buckeyes with a 7-over 223 to tie for 20th. Fellow senior Susana Benavides notched a team-high four birdies in the third round to tie for 34th with an 11-over 227, while classmate Amy Meier recorded a team-low even 72 in the final round to finish tied for 40th with a 13-over 229.
Competing as an individual, Allison Harper tallied a total score of 16-over 232 and tied for 55th.
The Buckeyes will travel to Norman, Okla. to compete in the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic on Oct. 15-17.
