Buckeyes Improve on Day Two of Bryan National Collegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio-- The Ohio State women's golf team improved on the second day of the Bryan National Collegiate and carded a 1-over 289 Saturday to move into third place. The Buckeyes have a two-round total of 15-over 591 on the 72, 6,386-yard Bryan Park Champions Course in Greensboro, N.C.
After two rounds of competition, No. 3 Duke remains on top of the leaderboard with a 6-over 582. Sierra Sims of Wake Forest leads all individuals with a 2-under 142.
Sitting tied for eighth after two rounds is freshman Jessica Porvasnik. The Hinckley, Ohio, product tallied eight birdies on her way to a 70 on the second day. She has a two-round total of 1-over 145.
Freshman Katja Pogacar stands tied for 17th overall with a 4-over 147 following rounds of 76 and 71. The Ljubljana, Slovenia, native enjoyed a steady round of golf and made two birdies with just one bogey.
The final round of competition will conclude Sunday at 8:30 a.m. ET with a shotgun start.
