New Orleans - Damaging overnight weather in the New Orleans area has forced the cancellation of Monday's second round of the 2013 Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Golf Championship and play will resume on Tuesday at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start for the final round.
During the night, severe thunderstorms produced high winds and close to three inches of rain, and brought dime-sized hail to the course. The clean-up for Tuesday's second round has begun.
The Buckeyes will enter the final round 15th of 18 teams after carding an 11-over 299 in the first round Sunday. Senior Amy Meier leads the squad with a 2-under 70 and is tied for seventh.
