Second Day Done at Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge

PALOS VERDES, Calif. - The Ohio State women's golf team finished the second day of the 19th-annual Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge Monday and are 16th with a 41-over 609. The annual tournament is being played on the par 71, 6,017-yard Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes, Calif.
No. 1 Southern California is atop of the team leaderboard with a 1-under 567 after rounds of 288 and 279. USC's Annie Park finished the day with a 4-under 67 and has a two-day total of 8-under 134 to lead all student-athletes.
Freshman Jessica Porvasnik finished the day tied for 29th overall with a 7-over 149. The Hinckley, Ohio, product improved on day two and has rounds of 75 and 74 for the tournament. Junior Jan Chanpalangsri has a two-day total of 152 and is tied for 49th.
Junior Claudia Lim totaled a score of 76 Monday to go with a first round total of 77 and is tied for 56th overall with a 153. Freshman Katja Pogacar and senior Allison Harper are tied for 68th with a 156 each.
Freshmen Zoe-Beth Brake and Ileen Domela are competing as individuals for the Buckeyes this week. Brake finished the day tied for 68th overall and has a two-day total of 156. Domela compiled rounds of 79 and 79 for a 158.
The final round of the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge begins Tuesday with an 8 a.m. PT shotgun start.
