As the Buckeyes embark on the final three weeks of the regular season, below is a look at where the Big Ten stands right now and what’s left the rest of the way.
Focusing on the Buckeyes, they have a big game this Thursday against Rutgers who has been the surprise of the league thus far. The Scarlet Knights won just six games last year and have already notched 18 this year. On Sunday, Rutgers downed No. 13 Michigan 63-56 in Piscataway and will be heading to Columbus with some momentum.
Ohio State then plays a non-conference game at USF and a conference game at Illinois in a three-day span before returning home to host Senior Day on Feb. 18 vs. Purdue. The Boilermakers have won six of their last seven including wins at Iowa and at Michigan.
The final week of the season features a home game with Northwestern on Feb. 21 and a road contest at Penn State on Feb. 25.
