COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State senior point guard Samantha Prahalis was named to the Women's Wooden Award Midseason Top 20 list Friday afternoon by The Los Angeles Athletic Club.

Prahalis makes her second appearance on the midseason list, making the top 20 in 2010 as well as a sophomore. This season she helped lead Ohio State to its best season start in program history, including a current No. 9 national ranking and a 20-1 record heading into the weekend.

A senior from Commack, N.Y., Prahalis leads the Big Ten and ranks seventh nationally with 7.0 assists per game, while ranking fourth in the Big Ten with 18.7 ppg in all games. She also is among the conference leaders with 2.2 steals per game and carries a +2.5 assist/turnover ratio.

She is on pace to become the Big Ten's all-time assists leader by the end of the regular season and ranks in the top 6 on Ohio State's all-time scoring list with 1,789 points.

•    Scored 28 and had six assists in the win over Illinois, including three 3FGs
•    Recorded 28 points, eight rebounds and eight assists vs. No. 20 LSU
