COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State senior guard Tayler Hill has been named to the John R. Wooden Award Women's Midseason Top 20 list, announced today by the Los Angeles Athletic Club.

Selected by the Wooden Award National Advisory Board, the list is made up of 20 student-athletes who, based on their performances in November, December and January, are the frontrunners for selection to the National Ballot of college basketball's most prestigious award. The National Ballot consists of approximately 15 players who have proven to their universities that they are making progress toward graduation and maintaining at least a cumulative 2.0 GPA.

Hill is a leading candidate for Big Ten player of the year and All-America honors. She leads the Big Ten and ranks 13th in the NCAA with 20.6 ppg and is among the Big Ten leaders in free throw percentage (.807), steals (2.4), 3-point field goals (2.5) and minutes played (39.0 in Big Ten play).

The senior from Minneapolis has 1,752 career points, good for eighth on Ohio State's all-time list. She has scored in double-figures every game this season and in 52 consecutive games overall - the longest active streak in the Big Ten and the fourth longest in Division I. She has 10 20-point games this year, including a career-high 34 points in the overtime loss at Iowa.
