Ohio State women's basketball head coach Kevin McGuff today announced the hiring of Patrick Klein and Joy Cheek as assistant coaches on his staff. Klein remains on the coaching staff and will begin his third year as an assistant at Ohio State in 2013-14. Cheek comes to Ohio State after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at her alma mater, Duke University.

Buckeyes will face Maryland in 2013 Challenge

The Ohio State women's basketball team, under the direction of first-year head coach Kevin McGuff, will travel to College Park, Md., to face the Maryland Terrapins Thursday, Dec. 5 in the 2013 Big Ten/ACC Women's Basketball Challenge. This year's challenge will mark the seventh year of an event that has been extended to 2016.

Krejci, of MK Sports and Entertainment LLC said the deal was signed yesterday and Stokes is ready to showcase her abilities against the best players in the world.
