SASSO Tutor Online Application

General Application Information: All potential tutors must fill out an application. Chosen candidates will interview with the Academic Resources Coordinator, Ruth Bolzenius. If selected, staff will be trained in procedures as well as NCAA, University, and SASSO policies, and they will sign an agreement that they understand these policies and will abide by them.

Tutor Application Information: Tutoring student-athletes involves assisting students in understanding course material while promoting independent learning. Tutors are expected to have competency (GPA 3.0+) in the discipline in which they wish to tutor as well as the ability to employ strategies for facilitating student learning.

Junior standing and previous tutoring experience preferred.
