Women’s Preview
With the regular season coming to a close, the Buckeyes look to finish strong at this year’s Big Ten Championship. Coming off of a 14th place showing at Pre Nationals, the Buckeyes are looking to win big. Going into this championship season, the Buckeyes are gearing up to face several ranked teams within the conference: No. 9 Penn State, No. 10 Michigan, No. 17 Wisconsin, No. 19 Minnesota, No. 20 Michigan State and No. 29 Indiana.

This season, the women’s team has seen large contributions from top finishers Sarah Kanney, Emily Stoodley and Lainey Studebaker in previous races. Kanney and Stoodley ran to a 13th and 15th-place at the 2016 Big Ten Championships. With her 13th-place finish, Kanney became the first woman to earn Second Team All-Big Ten honors since Katie Borchers did so in 2014.
