Cross Country Camps in Hocking Hills

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The men of the Ohio State cross country team opened the 2014 season with team camp this week at Hocking Hills State Park in Hocking Hills, Ohio. The trip began Tuesday, with the squad set to return home after a practice session Saturday morning.
The team has enjoyed great weather throughout the week, with each man running between 80 and 100 miles during the five-day excursion.
"This trip has been great preparation for the upcoming season and a nice bonding experience for our team," OSU distance and cross country coach Brice Allen said. "We are excited to return to campus next week for the start of classes and will be ready to run at the Flyer 5k Saturday."
Ohio State opens the 2014 season August 30 at the Flyer 5k Challenge in Kettering, Ohio.
