Buckeyes Sign Seven to National Letters of Intent

Feb. 6, 2014

COLUMBUS, Ohio –Ed Beathea, Ohio State men’s track and field head coach, announced today the signing of seven student-athletes to National Letters of Intent.

Sprinter/hurdler Davon Anderson and thrower Max Siepel will join distance runners Kevin Blank, Clayton Bowie, Nick Elswick, Mitch Leitch and Jake Mandel on the Ohio State campus this fall.

“All of these guys show the ability to help our team win a Big Ten Championship,” Beathea said. “This class should rival our two previous years of top 10 recruiting classes. The staff has done another great job of recruiting. We have not had three years of successful recruiting at this level before so it is a great first step.”
