CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Ohio State men's cross country team placed four runners in the top 30 on its way to a fifth-place finish at the 8k Big Ten championships Sunday afternoon at the Illinois Arboretum.
Donny Roys was the leader of the pack for the Scarlet and Gray, turning in a 19th-place and personal-best time of 24:21. Taylor Williams crossed the finish line in a PR of 24:24 for a 21st-place finish, followed by Julian Meyer (25th, PR of 24:28), Adam Green (28th, 24:31) and Chris Fallon (45th, 24:49).
As a team, the Buckeyes complied 138 points to finish behind Wisconsin (17 points), Indiana (60), Michigan (104) and Minnesota (104). The second-ranked Badgers won their 13th-consecutive conference crown by placing five athletes in the top 6.
