Young Buckeyes Perform Well in Wilmington
Oct. 14, 2011 WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Ohio State ‘B’ team took to the cross country course Friday afternoon at the 8k Wilmington Fall Classic. Competing with nearly 300 athletes, freshman Curtis Hanle took home runner-up honors behind Denison’s Dee Salukombo, crossing the finish line in 25:05.21. Fellow freshman Blake Taneff joined Hanle in top 10 by turning in a seventh-place time of 25:27.07. In all, four of the seven Buckeyes in competition finished in the top 20.
