COLUMBUS, Ohio – Buckeye wrestling fans will have one more opportunity to see Ohio State this season inside St. John Arena. Next Monday at 7 p.m., the Buckeyes will welcome Edinboro for a NWCA National Championship Dual Series match, the NWCA announced today.

Ohio State and Edinboro are no strangers to a late-season dual  - last year, the two squads faced off on Feb. 15 in the opening round of the NWCA National Duals in Edinboro, Pa. Ohio State won the match, 30-7, and holds a 9-3 lead in the all-time series.

The Fighting Scots, a member of the EWL and this year’s league champions, are 8-9 overall with a match remaining on Feb. 20 vs. West Virginia. Edinboro’s lineup features four ranked wrestlers – No. 18 Patricio Lugo (149 lbs.), No. 16 Austin Matthews (157 lbs.), No. 20 Casey Fuller (165 lbs.) and No. 5 Vic Avery (184 lbs.).

Ohio State (10-3) finished its conference slate last Friday with a 34-6 rout of Wisconsin. The defending national champions won five of their final six duals and will have no less than seven ranked wrestlers in its probable lineup.

Ticket can be purchased though OhioStateBuckeyes.com, through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000 FREE, in person at the OSU Athletics Ticket Office in the Schottenstein Center or any Ticketmaster outlet. The dual can also be seen live on BTN Plus (subscription required).

The format of this year’s National Dual Championship Series is to match the top eight Big Ten programs (seven are currently ranked in the Top 13) against the dual meet champions from the seven other Division I conferences. There will be one at-large team selected based on their national ranking even though they didn't win the dual meet championship of their conference.

Other Big Ten host schools include Penn State, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, Rutgers, Indiana and Minnesota.
