Feb. 8, 2018

RELATED INFO

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The NCAA unveiled the individual rating percentage index (RPI) for the first time this season, alongside it’s second installment of the coaches’ panel rankings. These two metrics, and match winning percentage, are the tools utilized at the end of the regular season in the selection process to determine qualifying spots for the NCAA Championships.

All eligible Buckeye starters are included in the Top-33 rankings at each weight class. Eligibility for the coaches’ panel rankings is a five-match minimum while the RPI requires a more stringent requirement of 17 matches competed in 2017-18 (Ohio State’s Joey McKenna, Nathan Tomasello and Kyle Snyder have not met that bar).
