2014-15 Season - Entered the season as one of the top-ranked wrestlers at 149 lbs. before injuries derailed his campaign … despite the setbacks, scored critical points for the Buckeyes at the 2015 Big Ten Championships by defeating Penn State’s Jake Beitz in the quarterfinals, 5-4 … his win over Beitz qualified him for the NCAA Championships … wrestled in just 10 total matches.

2013-14 Season - During redshirt season, competed in open tournaments - Champion at Clarion Open (Nov. 3), Michigan State Open (Nov. 9), Purple Raider Open (Jan. 19), Edinboro Open (Feb. 8) ... compiled an 18-0 record, which included four major decisions and six falls.

2012-13 - All-American ... No. 1 seed at NCAA championships; advanced to semifinals of 141-pound bracket before dropping heartbreaking 7-6 decision to Mitchell Port of Edinboro ... Big Ten champion; All-Big Ten ... 36-1 overall; 14-0 in dual competition, including an 8-0 record in the Big Ten ... led team in wins (36), dual wins (14), Big Ten wins (8) and major decisions with 13 ... at Big Ten championships (March 9-10), won four matches, including a 10-8 sudden victory over No. 5 seed Brandon Nelsen of Purdue in the semifinals en route to title ... in Big Ten regular-season action scored wins over No. 8 Mark Ballweg of Iowa, 6-4, (Jan. 4) and No. 11 Nick Dardanes of Minnesota, 5-3 (Jan. 11) ... posted team's second-fastest fall time of 23 seconds in season opener at UB Invitational (Nov. 4) vs. William Honer (American International); time also serves as eighth-fastest time in Ohio State history ...
