2015-16 Season: Went 4-4 on the season while getting the start at 197 lbs. in the dual match opener against Virginia … two of his four victories were by bonus points (one major decision, one fall) … fifth place at the season-opening Eastern Michigan Open where he went 4-1.
2014-15 Season: Wrestled in 13 matches, including one start on the varsity vs. Army at the Journeymen Tussle in Clifton Park, NY … earned a 4-2 decision over Stephen Snyder in Ohio State’s 37-6 victory … went 2-2 at the Cleveland State Open and 2-1 at the Mercyhurst Open.
2013-14 Season: Received starting nod in two dual matches at Davidson (Nov. 24) and vs. George Mason (Nov. 24) ... competed in several open tournaments including Clarion Open (Nov. 3), MSU Open (Nov. 9), CSU Open (Dec. 14), Storm Open (Jan. 5), Purple Raider Open (Jan. 19) and Edinboro Open (Feb. 8).
2012-13 Season: In first season as a Buckeye, went 7-6 overall ... received starting nod at Davidson vs. Ian Solcz (Nov. 15); dropped a 4-3 decision ... wrestled at Eastern Michigan Open (Nov. 3) and posted a fourth-place finish ... also competed at Storm Open (Jan. 5) and finished fifth.
Prior to Ohio State: Four-year starter at Chardon High School ... finished sixth at Ohio High School Athletic Association state tournament in 2011 at 171 pounds ... compiled a 95-48 career record ... team captain ... earned Most Improved and Wrestler of the Year honors at Chardon.
