2015-16 Season: Finished 13-10 while earning two dual match starts … was in the lineup at 174 lbs. for the Buckeyes’ contests at Missouri (12/12) and Northwestern (12/18) … won two matches via fall, the fastest coming in just 29 seconds … sixth place at the Eastern Michigan Open and eighth at the Michigan State Open … 4-1 at the Penn State Open, falling to eventual champion Bo Nickal in the semifinals.
2014-15 Season: Wrestled in 18 matches, including four starts – all vs. Big Ten foes (vs. Penn State, Michigan State, Indiana and Maryland) … finished 10-8 overall with two pins, one major decision and one technical fall … champion at the Mercyhurst Open on the strength of two pins and a technical fall … went 3-2 at the season-opening Michigan State Open.
2013-14 Season: Competed in Edinboro Open (Feb. 8) and garnered three victories.
Prior to Ohio State: Four-time Ohio High School Athletic Association state qualifier; runner-up senior year, third junior year, fourth sophomore season and qualifier freshman season ... St. Clairsville finished seventh as a team in 2010 ... Fargo Freestyle National Runner-up ... finished high school career with a 166-14 record.
