Signee Aaron Samarin Brings in More Accolades

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Nearly a month after earning High School All-American honors from the AVCA, Ohio State signee Aaron Samarin was also included in the Volleyball Magazine Boys' Fab 50 recognizing the top-50 seniors in the country.

The Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 is voted on by an elite panel of NCAA Division I-II men's college coaches who represent many of the game's top programs.

Samarin, hailing from Clovis, Calif., is a 6-foot libero and played for Buchanan High School under John Jay. He is a three-time All-Conference and All-Valley honoree and was a member of the state championship team his freshman season. Samarin was a three-year member of the Clovis Volleyball Club (2010-2012) and is currently a member of the Central Cal Club. He has participated in four USA High Performance programs, including the 2012 and 2013 USA High Performance Youth A2 programs.
