COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University men’s volleyball team will begin its national title defense as the NCAA Tournament’s top seed. The NCAA men’s volleyball committee released the six-team bracket (attached in PDF form) on Sunday (April 23), setting up St. John Arena to host five matches from May 2-6 to determine the 2017 national champions.
Tuesday, May 2 | Opening round
6 p.m. – No. 3-seed BYU (24-4) vs. No. 6-seed Barton (23-5)
8 p.m. – No. 4-seed Hawaii (26-5) vs. No. 5-seed Penn State (21-10)
Thursday, May 4 | Semifinals
6 p.m. – No. 2-seed Long Beach State (27-3) vs. BYU/Barton
8 p.m. – No. 1-seed Ohio State (30-2) vs. Hawaii/Penn State
Saturday, May 6 | Finals
7 p.m. – Semifinal #1 winner vs. Semifinal #2 winner (live on ESPNU)

Parking in St. John Arena lots will be free for the event. Ohio State students will also receive free admission with a valid BUCK ID for any matches in which the Buckeyes are competing. Doors will open 60 minutes prior to the first semifinal and again for the finals.
