Katrina Stibel began her career in 2000 when she graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training. After she finished her undergraduate degree, Stibel spent one year as an assistant athletic trainer at BKP Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Clinic. From there she became a graduate assistant at Ohio State and obtained her master's degree in 2003.
During her time as a graduate assistant, Stibel provided athletic training coverage for the men's and women's gymnastics teams until 2003. Stibel became an athletic trainer at the Ohio State Sports Medicine Center before accepting a position as an assistant athletic trainer at Ohio State in 2004.
Stibel currently works at the St. John athletic training room as a supervisor and approved clinical instructor. She provides coverage for Women's Volleyball and Rowing.
Stibel is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association.
Stibel, her husband Doug, and their son Joshua reside in Columbus, Ohio.
