Mitch Lush
Mitch Lush

Position:
Director of Operations

Mitch Lush rejoined the Ohio State men's volleyball program as Director of Operations in the summer of 2017, just one year removed from serving as the team's manager during the 2016 NCAA national championship season. In addition to his duties with men's volleyball, he is also the Director of Field Hockey Operations.

Lush spent the 2016-17 season acting as the top assistant coach for both the women's and men's volleyball teams at Marymount University in Arlington, Va. He helped both squads record the best season in program history, including a Continental Volleyball Conference regular season title for the men and a 25-9 overall mark for the women. Lush managed the teams' budget, travel itineraries and organized overnight trips for the Saints -- preparing him for his current director of operations role with OSU field hockey and men's volleyball. He was also involved with recruiting and opponent scouting.

Before graduating from Ohio State with a bachelor's in business administration (accounting specialization), Luch competed for the OSU men's volleyball club team and earned NCVF/NIRSA All-American recognition in 2015. He was also a member of back-to-back OHSAA state championships with Archbishop Alter High School.
