Buckeyes win in three sets

Christy Blough is back for his fifth season at Ohio State in 2018, but his first as a member of the coaching staff following his outstanding playing career which ended with steering the Buckeyes to back-to-back national championships as the team's starting setter. He will serve as the program's volunteer assistant coach while attending medical school at the University.

Blough racked up 4,280 assists while on the court, ranking Top-5 all-time in school history. He was a two-time AVCA All-America Second Team member while bringing in nearly every single academic award in existence for NCAA student-athletes. The biomedical engineering degree holder was named the Elite 90 award recipient during the 2017 NCAA Men's Volleyball Championships banquet, presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point averaged participating at the finals site for each of the NCAA's Championships.
