Stanley Earns Second Consecutive B1G Field Athlete of the Week Award

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Sophomore Billy Stanley was named Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week for the second week in a row Wednesday by the conference office after an impressive victory at the LSU Battle on Bayou last Saturday.
Stanley, a native of South Park, Pa., cleared 73.38 meters (240-9.00) to win the javelin throw for the second time in as many weeks. He finished 27 feet ahead of the runner-up mark. The award is the second weekly honor of Stanley’s career.
Ohio State returns to the track this Saturday at the Spec Towns National Team Invitational in Athens, Ga.
