COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s track and field team completed competition at the 28th Jesse Owens Track Classic Saturday afternoon at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

Winners for the Buckeyes included sophomore Timothy Faust in both the 100m and 200m, senior Michael Hartfield in the long jump, and the 4x400m relay team.

Here’s a complete recap:

Faust (10.56) and junior Demoye Bogle (10.62) turned in a 1-2 finish. Third place went to John Lundy of Notre Dame College in 10.67 seconds.

110m Hurdles
Freshman Donovan Robertson placed fifth overall in a time of 14.53. Greggmar Swift of Indiana State was first in 14.03.

Faust picked up a second win on the day in the 200m, crossing the finish line in 21.26 seconds. Joe Horn of Ashland was the runner-up in 21.31.

400m Hurdles
Blanks placed fourth with a time of 52.62. Unattached competitor Jermel Kindred crossed the finish line in first place with a time of 51.50.

Pole Vault
Junior Cody Marshall cleared the bar at 4.82m (15-9.75), finishing in a four-way tie for second place. Michigan State’s Cliff Miller was the winner at 5.10m (16-8.75).

Long Jump
Hartfield turned in a mark of 7.96m (26-1.50) to capture first place. Unattached competitor Collister Fahie was second at 7.35m (24-1.50).

High Jump
Freshman Brant Reardon finished in a fourth-place tie at 1.95m (6-4.75) with Cody Jones of Kent State. Lake Erie’s Edward Dudley placed first at 2.10m (6-10.75).

Triple Jump
Freshman Julian Vann took third place at 14.30m (46-11.00). Lake Erie’s Joseph Postwaite captured first place at 14.80m (48-6.75).

Hammer Throw
Seventh place went to freshman Joseph Velez at 60.58m (198-9.00). Nike’s A.G. Kruger, the Jesse Owens meet- and stadium-record holder, placed first with a 75.45m (247-6.50) heave.

4x400m Relay
Ohio State ‘A’ – freshman Champ Page, senior Korbin Smith, junior Javon Walker and Blanks – combined for a first-place time of 3:14.11. Ohio State ‘B’ was second in 3:17.20.
