Robertson Advances to 60-Meter Hurdle Final at NCAA Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Redshirt freshman Donovan Robertson will run for a national championship in the 60-meter hurdles Saturday after a seventh-place finish in preliminary-round competition Friday evening at the 2014 NCAA Indoor Championships in Albuquerque, N.M.

Robertson, from Berea, Ohio, crossed the finish line third in his heat and seventh overall in a time of 7.69 seconds. Eddie Lovett of Florida posted the top time of the day (7.57).

Junior Timothy Faust earned Second Team All-America honors by virtue of a 15th-place finish in the 200-meter dash in a time of 21.34. Dedric Dukes of Florida ran the top time of the preliminary round (20.66).

Robertson runs in the national champion race tomorrow evening at 6:20 p.m. MT. Also competing Saturday is the Big Ten champion 4x400-meter relay team – the foursome will take to the track at 8:05 p.m. ET.
