2009-10 (Junior Season): Participated in third-career national college tennis tournament in 2009 D'Novo All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. (Oct. 3-5) ... went 1-1 in qualifying singles; in doubles, paired with teammate Mike O'Connell to win two matches in qualifying round ... advanced to Round of 16 in singles in Wilson/ITA Midwest Region Championship (Oct. 16-20) ... moving to spring schedule, held 28 dual-match win streak in singles, the longest streak by any Buckeye of the year ... during the streak, 24 were straight-set wins ... went perfect 7-0 and 8-0 at Nos. 5 and 6 singles, respectively ... went perfect at home in singles with 12-0 record ... won three tough matches in three sets against Maros Horny of No. 10 Baylor (March 1), 0-6 (11-9), 7-6 (7-5), 6-0, Alexey Grigorov of No. 18 Texas A&M (March 13), 7-6, 6-7, 6-3 and Brian Livingston of No. 11 Illinois (April 12), 7-5, 2-6, 10-4 to help Ohio State claim three victories against Top 20 opponents ... during Big Ten Championships (April 24-26), helped Ohio State claim its fourth-consecutive tournament title, going 2-0 (one match went unfinished) to keep personal win streak alive heading into NCAA play ... returned to action in first and second rounds of NCAA championships and went 1-0 (one match went unfinished) ... plagued by an ankle injury during team's national title run where his dual-match win streak was snapped .... in doubles action, was third overall on the team in wins with 30-16 record ... played 46 matches, the most by any member on the squad ... paired for most of the season with junior Justin Kronauge as the top doubles tandem ... 2007-08 (Freshman Season): Earned valuable experience during fall season, participating in Polo Ralph Lauren Men's All-American Tournament (Sept. 29-Oct. 7); in collegiate debut, went 4-1 ... in next competition, faced a familiar foe in older brother John Allare of Michigan State in ITA Midwest Region IV tournament (Oct. 18-23) ... younger Allare was victorious, winning 6-4, 6-4 ... jumping ahead to spring schedule, was instrumental in helping Buckeyes to an 18-1 record before suffering a leg injury following Virginia Commonwealth match (March 23) ... during 19 dual-match stretch, compiled 17-1 overall record ... lone loss came to North Carolina's Chris Kearney (Feb. 10) and another contest was unfinished (Michael Shabaz of Virginia - Feb. 18) ... before injury, Allare was riding 10-match win streak ... of 22 singles victories, 18 were straight-set wins ... awarded Big Ten Player of the Week for week of Feb. 6 following dominant performances over Miami (Fla.), Pepperdine and Wright State ... returned to action in first and second rounds of NCAA championships and did not miss a beat, going 2-0 in both singles and doubles play, improving his singles win streak to 12 matches ... in doubles action, Allare and sophomore Mike O'Connell traditionally formed No. 1 doubles tandem ... pair owned 12-5 overall record, including 8-3 ledger in dual action ... duo competed against some of the top doubles teams in the country, going up against the Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5 doubles teams in the nation ... overall, pair was 4-1 against nationally-ranked tandems ... bettered No. 3 team of Taylor Fogleman and Chris Kearney of North Carolina, 9-7 (Feb. 10) ... at ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships (Nov. 1-4), hosted by Ohio State, topped No. 5 Dan Buikema and Matt Thibaudeau of Alabama, 9-7 ... match against No. 2 Robert Farah and Kaes Van't Hof of USC (Feb. 16) went unfinished, while pair dropped hard-fought 8-5 decision to Virginia's No. 1 duo of Somdev Devvarman and Treat Huey (Feb. 18) ... prior to leg injury, the two were 7-3 at No. 1 doubles and 1-0 at No. 3 spot.

Prior to Ohio State: Claimed two Ohio High School state titles in singles (2006, '07) and doubles (2004, '05) competition ... named 2007 National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA) boy's tennis player of the year after posting a 27-0 record during senior campaign ... recorded a 21-2 mark in 2006 ... two-time All-American ... became the first boy's tennis player in Ohio to win four state championships ... won pair of United State Tennis Association (USTA) U-18 doubles crowns ... two-time national open finalist in doubles (boys 18) with former Buckeye and current assistant coach Justin Kronauge ... went 4-1 in USTA Midwest Winter Championships before winning Columbus Indoor Championships and USTA National Open U-18 event in Cincinnati ... reached as high as 15th nationally in singles (boys 18) and No. 1 in doubles (boys 18) ... featured in July 23, 2007 Sports Illustrated Faces In the Crowd.
