COLUMBUS, Ohio - Junior Ohio State diver Shane Miszkiel earned the Big Ten Conference's Diver of the Week award for the third-consecutive week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Miszkiel has now won five career weekly awards and becomes the first men's diver to earn three-consecutive Big Ten laurels since former Boilermaker and 2012 Olympian David Boudia accomplished the feat during the 2010-11 campaign. A native of Victoria, B.C., Miszkiel posted first in the three-meter springboard (387.98) and third in the one-meter event (318. 15)to help the Buckeyes defeat No. 13 Tennessee last Friday in Knoxville, Tenn
