Buckeyes Wrap up Competition at NCAA Zone Diving Qualifier

COLUMBUS, Ohio – On the final day of the NCAA Zone C Diving Qualifier at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion, juniors Stephen Ettienne and Taylor Ford each had top-10 finishes in their respective platform dives.
On Saturday, Ford scored a 487.00 and took sixth place overall. The winner was Mackenzie Tweardy of Purdue with a final score of 612.60. Ford scored a 237.95 in the prelims.
On the men’s side, Ettienne totaled a 613.50, good for eighth place overall. Nathan Cox of Purdue won the event with a final score of 780.80.
The NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships take place March 20-22 in Minneapolis, Minn., while the men’s championships are March 27-29 in Austin, Texas.
