COLUMBUS, Ohio – After day one of competition from Canham Natatorium, the No. 10 Ohio State men’s swimming and diving team trail No. 1 Michigan in Ann Arbor.

The Buckeyes began the night with a third place finish in the 400 medley relay when Steven Zimmerman, Keanu Stevenson, Jason Schnur and Zach Holmes posted a time of 3:19.51. Alex Miller followed with a time of 9:13.77 for fourth overall in the 1000 freestyle.

Zimmerman and Stevenson had back-to-back third place finishes in the 100 backstroke (49.57) and 100 breaststroke (56.17), respectively. The Scarlet and Gray wrapped up the night with a third place mark in the 400 freestyle relay comprised of Schnur, Holmes, Birnbrich and Josh Fleagle at 2:59.46.

The Buckeyes will return to the pool at Noon Saturday to conclude competition vs. the top-ranked Wolverines with an additional nine events listed on the schedule starting with the 200 medley relay.
