The Ohio State men's swimming and diving team defeated Cincinnati, 160-119, Friday evening in the squad's season-opening dual at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. The Buckeyes recorded the fastest time in 13 races, while earning the top score in both the one- and three-meter diving events.

- In its opening meet of the 2014-15 season, the Ohio State men's swimming and diving team will face in-state foe Cincinnati Friday at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. With racing scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. (ET), the dual-meet clash will feature a Buckeye program coming off its eighth consecutive Top-20 finish at the NCAA championships.

Tim Phillips, a former member of the Ohio State men's swimming and diving team, recently competed alongside Team USA at the Hancock Prospecting 2014 Pan Pacific Championships in Gold Coast, Australia. Held Aug. 21 - Aug. 25, Pan Pacs is considered one of the premier international meets outside of the World Championships and Olympic Games.
