COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State men's soccer team will hold open tryouts during spring semester for all full-time Ohio State main campus students at 8 p.m. Feb. 13 in the indoor field at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. All players should bring their open equipment for the training session on the turf field.
In order to participate in the tryout each player must present proof of recent physical examination within the last 12 months signed and dated by the physician, signed Release of Claims Form, the Sickle Cell Testing Form and completed tryout questionnaire. These forms will be collected at the field, prior to 8 p.m. Full-time students under the age of 18 must have forms be co-signed by parent/or guardian (Submit to Sam Reagan, athletic trainer (firstname.lastname@example.org). Tryout participants will be turned away at the door if the physical is not signed by a physician.
Each player will need to submit name, email address and student ID# as well to Andrea Miller, compliance (email@example.com)
You must contact Coach Bluem (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Wednesday, Feb. 7 in order to register for the tryouts.
Following the initial tryout Feb. 13, some players may be asked to return for additional practice time at 8 p.m. Feb. 15 at the WHAC. Those players selected following the second session will participate with the team in daily training from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. during the remaining spring season. This extended training period will be your opportunity to be selected for the fall 2018 team.
