COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State men's soccer team will hold open tryouts for all full-time Ohio State students at 7:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, in the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. All players should bring their own equipment and be prepared to train on both grass and turf, depending on the weather.
In order to participate in the tryout each player must present:
- Proof of a physical exam within the last 12 months signed and dated by the physician
- A copy of their 2013 Spring Semester schedule to prove they are currently enrolled full time at Ohio State University
- Signed copies of the release of claims form, tryout questionnaire and Sickle Cell trait testing education and acknowledgement form(located above)
If you are under 18 forms must be co-signed by parent/ or guardian.
Following the initial tryout Feb. 11, some players may be asked to return for additional practice times at 8:45 a.m. Feb. 12-13 in the WHAC. Those selected during the tryout process will participate in daily training with the team for the remainder of the spring season, from 8-10 a.m. Monday-Friday. This extended training period will be an opportunity to be selected for the fall 2013 team.
