Coach Bluem on Santibanez: "Felipe has battled a back injury for the majority of the offseason but gets stronger every day. We had very high hopes for him coming in because of his speed and skill, so we will see how things develop."

At a glance: Natural left-footed player ... had solid experience with Costa Rican U17 national team ... very technical player in the midfield.

As a freshman (2010): Saw action in six games as a reserve, including the first five of the season ... played a season-high 20 minutes vs. Buffalo in the Wolstein Classic (Sept. 5).
